Our novel silicate technology was originally developed by the Medical Research Council (MRC) and the University of Cambridge (UK) which also invented Keytruda® and Humira®: two of the premier and top selling prescription drugs in the world.
Our unique formulation attracts and absorbs moisture from the air. It is powered by micro-silicates which are derived from Orthosilic Acid (OSA) which is the bioavailable form of silicon diluted in water which in mammals is associated with healthy connective tissue growth.
Research shows that OSA accelerates wound cicatrization (scarring) by stimulating basal epidermal and dermal fibroblasts cells to up-regulate the expression of essential fibroblast growth factors. Moreover, collagen and elastin fibers formed in OSA's presence are more densely packed, better organized, and more homogeneously distributed.
